Forsus (Bite Fixer)
Forsus (Bite Fixer)

This appliance is used in overbite cases after leveling and aligning your bite. We use a spring that is connected to the brackets to bring your jaw forward.

Herbst Appliance

We use a Herbst in more severe overbite cases as an alternative to jaw surgery. This appliance can even be used on adults and is believed to stimulate lower jaw growth, which delivers stability after your braces come off.

We connect small rubber bands from one tooth to another to improve positioning.

Reverse Pull Facemask
Reverse Pull Facemask

An appliance used in underbite cases to advance your upper jaw forward, it is used with adolescents before the age of 13 as an attempt to avoid later jaw surgery.

TPA Appliance
TPA Appliance

Often used after an expander, or when anchorage is needed, this fixed retainer runs across your palate to hold your teeth in place.

Lingual Arch
Lingual Arch

This lingual retainer is used on the lower arch to either align the lower front teeth, to be used as an anchor for elastics, to increase arch length to make room for the side adult teeth, or to hold space after your phase I treatment. Similar to the Nance Appliance, we also use it in instances of early loss of a primary tooth.

Fixed Retainer

This is typically used after your treatment is completed. We bond custom-made wires to the inside of your upper and lower arches to hold your teeth in place. These are used along with removeable clear retainers.

Nance
Nance

A similar appliance to the TPA, can be used to hold space when a primary tooth is lost earlier than usual, and to keep the upper molars back to allow the side adult teeth to have room to grow in. It can also be used along with braces to act as an anchor, to be used instead of a headgear.

Carriere Distalizer
Carriere Distalizer

The Carriere Distalizer is an orthodontic device developed to correct a bite without removing permanent teeth when teeth have erupted incorrectly. It’s similar to a headgear but without the obtrusive ware. The Carriere Distalizer pushes upper teeth back to create a corrected bite prior to the addition of braces.

Dynaflex CS2000

DYNAFLEX CS2000 is an appliance for superior fixed Class II and Class III correction. The CS2000 uses a patented coil-spring, usually attached to the arch-wire for a durable and effective treatment.
